All About Dance

CLASS RULES

REGISTRATION: All About Dance charges all dancers, new/returning a registration fee of $20 per dancer; annual enrollment fee.

PAYMENTS: All payments are due to the first class of the month. Monthly Fees for Level 1’s (minis) is $120, 2 routines is $160, and 3 routines is $195 place your payments in an envelope with your name and payment description in the payment box outside the office window.  Tuition will be pro-rated only in the months of May, June, July, and December. In the event of classes being cancelled (due to health pandemic or other unforeseen natural disaster or world emergency) all classes will have a make-up class day, no refunds. 

PRACTICES: The Studio is Closed for viewing for parents and siblings, except for the first class of the month, when they observe the final 10 minutes of each dancers class. 

BEHAVIOR: All dancers are expected to try their very best, and to be respectful to one another and to the AAD Staff.

ATTIRE: Dancers should wear appropriate dance attire – clothing that conforms to the body but does not restrict movement. Dancers MUST wear appropriate dance shoes (an order will be placed in the fall). No jewelry or gum is allowed during class.  Hair should be pulled back and out of the face.  Failure to wear appropriate shoes and clothing will first result in a warning. Following and repeated infractions will result in a dancer sitting out of class with no refund of fees.

WEATHER: If Glasgow Independent Schools are closed for weather-related reasons, All About Dance will be closed for those days as well. Monthly tuition will NOT be pro-rated for practices missed due to weather. Every attempt will be made to reschedule a make-up class if classes are missed for weather. If, at any time, a dancer's parent/guardian feels that the road conditions in their area make it unsafe to travel, please use your best judgment as to attendance.

HOLIDAYS: AAD will be open during spring break, and on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Fall break will be determined at a later date. AAD will be closed during the school designated December break.

ILLNESS/INJURY: If your dancer is ill, please do not bring him/her to class. Injured students are encouraged to attend and watch. Classes will NOT be pro-rated for classes missed due to illness or injury.

RECITAL/COMPETITIONS: A recital will be held in April 2026. A competition schedule and additional details will be given at a later date. 

PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT: All dancers/parents or guardians MUST sign a participation agreement and medical authorization.

CONTACT INFORMATION: A contact information form must be completed for all dancers. It is the parent’s responsibility and obligation to update the information when necessary.

PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT AND MEDICAL RELEASE

2025-2026

being allowed to participate in All About Dance, and all related events and activities, the undersigned acknowledgments, appreciate, and agrees that:

I acknowledge that, in terms of this Participation Agreement, the term “All About Dance,” refers to all employees, volunteers, agents, assigns, and successors.

All reasonable precautions are taken at All About Dance to prevent injury. However, I am aware playing or practicing for and participating in any sport can be an inherently dangerous activity involving numerous risks of injury. I understand that the dancers and risk of dance include, but are not limited to, sprains, pulled muscles, broken bones, neck and spinal injuries which may result in complete or partial paralysis, brain damage, serious injury to internal organs, serious injury to bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, tendons, and other aspects of the muscular skeletal system and serious injury or impairment to other aspects of the body, general health and wellbeing, and death. I understand that any activity that involves height, motion or water increases the risk of physical injury.

Because of the dangers of participation in the above sport, I recognize the importance of following rules and regulations established at All About Dance, agree to obey such instructions, and will discuss the importance of these rules with my child. I also understand that injury can occur even when all rules are followed. I also agree to hold All About Dance harmless from injury which may occur due to general negligence. The risk of injury from many of the activities could be significant, and while particular skills, rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce the risk, the risk of serious injury cannot be eliminated.

Assumptions of Risk: On behalf of my child, I knowingly and freely assume all risks related to or arising out of any and All, All About Dance activities, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of All About Dance or others and assume full responsibility for my child's participation.

Indemnity: I further agree indemnify, defend, save, and hold harmless All About Dance from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, actions, causes of actions, losses, injuries, costs, or expenses including attorneys' fees, arising out of any manner connected with my participation in any All About Dance activity, except to the extent caused solely by the willful misconduct of All About Dance. I acknowledge that the agreements made herein were and will continue to be a material and important consideration and indictment to All About Dance for my child's participation in All About Dance activities.

Representation and Warranties: I represent and warrant that my child is in good physical condition and able to participate safely in All About Dance Activity.

Authorization: I authorize All About Dance to administer basic first aid for minor injuries, and allow All About dance, and its employees, volunteers, and agents, to contact the physician named below, or make arrangements for emergency medical attention, at the time of an illness or accident. I understand that All About Dance will also contact me or my child's emergency contact as soon as possible after an injury or emergency attention.

Media Release:  I release the rights to All About Dance to take and utilize photographs and videos of my child. I also grant All About Dance the right to edit, use, and reuse said media products for purposes including print, internet and social media, and any other publicity projects. I also hereby release All About Dance, its successors, heirs, assigns, employees, volunteers, and agents, from all claims, demands, and liabilities whatsoever in connection with the above.

Release from Liability: I, as parent/guardian with legal responsibility for this participant, do consent and agree to his/her release as provided above of All About Dance, its successors, heirs, assigns, employees, volunteers, and agents, and for myself, my heirs, assigns, and next of kin, I release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless All About Dance from any and all liabilities incident to my minor child's involvement or participation in these programs as provided above, even if arising from negligence, the fullest extent permitted by law.

I understand that All About Dance does NOT carry special health insurance that would provide insurance coverage for my child in the event he/she should sustain an accidental injury while participating in the normal activities involved in competitive and recreational dance. I understand that if my child is injured in connection with All About Dance activities that the responsibility or medical expenses related thereto will be my responsibility. I understand that All About Dance has insurance in place to cover certain catastrophic occurrences, but I must meet the insurance policy's eligibility requirements before coverage can be applied. I acknowledge that all participants should have medical insurance in place to provide coverage for any and all injuries which occur during participation or resulting from my child's participation in All About Dance activities presence in the facility.

In signing the Participation Agreement and Medical Release, I acknowledge and represent that I have read it, understand it, and sign it voluntarily as my own free act and deed; no oral representations, statements or inducements, apart from this Participation Agreement and Medical Release have been made. I acknowledge that it is made into consideration for my child's participation in All About Dance Activities.
